Born in London. Opening every UK city.
Pickup Basketball Live now.
See who is on, pull up, squad up and hold the court at real cages. Free.
What it is
Pickup basketball, finally sorted. No group chat roulette, no solo trips to a dead court. GotNext runs on one thing, the check-in: tap Here now at a real court and the whole city sees it, the live map, who is on the way, which crews hold what. Free, no ads, born in London and opening every UK city.
Who is coming
See who is here and who is on the way.
Every court shows who is here now and who is on the way, with times. When a run is short, the need 2 for full court call goes up so people slide through.

Hold your court
Form a crew that holds courts.
Pick your element and crest, and your colour flies on every court you hold. A team only ranks and holds courts off real check-ins at the court, so nobody fakes it. Then climb the ladder.

Runs
Run it, or find one across the city.
Put on your own run and let people sign up. Teams play 3x3 and 5v5 in a bracket, a round robin or a winner-stays gauntlet. Hoopers play 1v1 and shootouts, where there are no teams and you just turn up. No crew? Raise your hand as an open player and get slotted in.

I hoop in London. I built GotNext because I was tired of crossing the city to find an empty court, or texting five group chats to find out where the run is. It is early, and I read every message. Tell me what is broken and what you want next.
The community
It runs on hoopers, not just an app.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. GotNext is free to download and free to use. No ads, no paywall on the core app.
When does it launch?
It is out. GotNext is live on the App Store now, free to download. Android is in Google Play closed testing: join the tester list and we email Play invites in batches.
Which courts are covered?
Courts near you, anywhere in the UK. The map runs deepest at the three founding London cages, Blue Cage in Deptford, Turnpike Lane, and Clapham, and it grows court by court. Court missing? Add it yourself: stand at it, take a photo, answer a few questions and it goes up. It has to be outdoors and free for anyone to walk onto. Not there right now? Suggest it instead, and every suggestion puts your city on the list for what opens next.
My city has no courts yet, what happens?
The app still works where you are: the map shows your nearest courts, and it tells you straight when your city is not on yet. You do not have to wait for us either, because you can put your own court on the map from the court itself. Suggest a court instead and you are on your city's waitlist. Suggestions and tester signups decide which city opens next, so drop your city on the tester form and bring your people.
How do I get in early?
On iPhone there is no early: it is live, download it from the App Store. On Android, fill in the tester form with your email and we add testers to the Google Play closed test in batches.
Do I need to check in for it to work?
You can browse the live map and read court intel without checking in. Checking in is what makes the map honest: it shows other hoopers you are there or on your way, and it powers who is coming.
Is my location and data safe?
Your location is used on your device to centre the map and to confirm you are at a court before a here-now check-in. We do not store your coordinates on our servers, and we never track you in the background. A check-in records the court you picked, not your position. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
iPhone and Android?
Both are built. On iPhone, GotNext is live on the App Store today. Android runs through the Google Play closed test: join the tester list and the invite comes by email.
